Something a bit different this time.
I’ve been working on a new format — acrylic prints — and three pieces are now available in the shop. If you haven’t come across acrylic prints before, they’re printed directly onto 4mm gloss acrylic, which gives the colours a depth and intensity that paper simply can’t match. Bold designs feel bolder. Neons actually glow. It suits the Psychedelic series rather well.
Psychedelic Floral Abstract is the most symmetrical of the three — four petal-like forms unfurl from a central vortex, each one wrapped in a shimmering stained-glass grid of red, green, blue and yellow, all set against deep glowing magenta. It pulls your eye in and then pushes it outward again. The kind of piece that looks different depending on where you’re standing.
Neon Abstract Landscape has more of a horizontal structure — three distinct worlds stacked on top of each other. A frenetic mass of interlocking geometric forms above, warm amber cellular shapes below, and a river of magenta and violet between them holding it all together. Restless, but composed.
Psychedelic Abstract is the loosest of the three — swirling biomorphic forms in magenta, electric blue, lime green and burnt orange that seem almost organic. No obvious centre, no obvious edge. More of a mood than a structure.
